Creativity is an essential component of the design process but is often very difficult to define. Our favourite approach is to get everyone together around a table (preferably with great coffee) and start sketching. We work with the engineering principles and possible details to find the best design solutions.
Once principles are established we dive into modelling to test the possible solutions, often using generative components to optimise complex geometries. We can then interrogate the structural analysis models using finite element techniques and iterate with architectural models. We often build physical models to test ideas and as useful tools in communication.
