This 75,000 m2 mixed-used development comprises two towers; a 21 storey hotel tower for Hilton International and a 19 storey residential tower. The podium is used for hotel, residential and commercial space. Innovative engineering techniques have been used for both the design and construction of the 2 level deep basement with high water table and creation of deep piles in a seismic zone.

Engenuiti was appointed to provide structural engineering for Scheme Design and BIM modelling of the structural frame. We were responsible for the detailed design of the structural steelwork and peer review of working drawings and design for the reinforced concrete frame.

Through close collaboration with MACE and the Client we were able to demonstrate to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development that probabilistic methods could be used to establish the seismic design criteria. Through this approach we were able to create significant savings on the frame cost for the Client.
