Engenuiti is delighted to be working with Weston Williamson + Partners, Integration and the Building Trust International to design and build a new school building for the children of Khyaung in Cambodia.

Khyaung Primary and Secondary School is situated 40 kilometres east of Phnom Penh City in Khampong Cham Province.  The new building comprises three additional classrooms, a library and toilet block: the school currently caters for 359 pupils aged from 1-17 from six surrounding villages in very cramped and poor conditions.

The design for the new building is innovative, cost-effective, and low maintenance, pushing the boundaries of what can be built sustainably in rural Cambodia on a low budget, without sacrificing quality or becoming overly complex.

The whole team is providing their time and resources without charge, but we need your help to raise the money to cover the cost of local materials and labour needed to build the new school.

We really appreciate your support and help.
