PRACTICE
MAKING THINGS HAPPEN

For us engineering should be about the art of creating possibilities and making things happen. This is especially true when new ideas, materials or methods of building are to be introduced.

Engineering is always about using, testing and pushing technology to complete and construct the designs and aspirations of our projects. This is an essential part of our process and delivery. We believe this is just as important as having a strong 'front end' approach to design. The ability to realise the ideas that we are able to conceive is a key facet of our practice.

Our work on the The Cube residential project highlights our approach, with the unique 10 storey development pushing the boundaries of hybrid buildings and timber engineering through its innovative twisted design, complex geometry and concrete, steel and timber construction.

We deal with interventions on the built environment and for us the thrilling part is seeing ideas come to life during construction. Engineering does not stop when drawings are produced, as the real challenge is working together with others to turn ideas in reality.
